CMOTHR Community License

Version 1.2 – November 2025

Preamble

CMOTHR is a philosophy and movement created by Mathias Clarstedt — a reminder that being human isn’t a flaw to fix, but a fact to remember.

This license exists not to restrict, but to protect the spirit of CMOTHR: openness, empathy, and shared humanity. It keeps the philosophy free to share, remix, and live by — while guarding it from being twisted into something divisive or commercialized without care.

Inspired by Creative Commons BY-SA, yet shaped by CMOTHR’s ethical foundation: integrity, humility, and community.

1. Permissions

You are free to:

  • Read, share, and quote CMOTHR texts, artworks, and materials.
  • Remix or adapt CMOTHR ideas for reflection, education, or creative expression.
  • Use CMOTHR writings in non-commercial talks, workshops, or social media posts.
  • Translate and spread the philosophy, as long as the original source is credited.

2. Attribution & Integrity

When you share or adapt CMOTHR materials, please:

  • Clearly credit CMOTHR / Mathias Clarstedt, linking to cmothr.com.
  • Keep the essence intact — protect the message of human dignity, humility, and empathy.
  • Add a note like: “Based on CMOTHR by Mathias Clarstedt – shared under the CMOTHR Community License v1.2 (see cmothr.com/license).”

3. Commercial Use

CMOTHR is open for sharing, not for selling.

If you wish to use the CMOTHR name, logo, or symbols in any commercial way (for example, selling products or promoting services), please get in touch first.
This isn’t about control — it’s about care. Collaboration is welcome when it honors the intention behind CMOTHR.

4. Ethical Use Principles

CMOTHR may never be used to:

  • Promote hate, exclusion, or misinformation.
  • Exploit human vulnerability for profit.
  • Present moral or intellectual superiority (“being CMOTHR means being right”).
  • Replace humility with branding.

5. Community Spirit

This license is built on trust.

You’re free to carry the message, adapt the words, and live the philosophy — just don’t sell it as your own.
Being CMOTHR means remembering that we’re already certified members of the human race.
Let’s keep it human.
